Man Killed After Jumping Out Of Vehicle On 101 Freeway

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The CHP says that a man who jumped out of a vehicle on the 101 Freeway was struck by at least one other car and killed.

The incident occurred just after 4:20 p.m. on the southbound 101 at Vineland, said CHP Officer Tatiana Sauquillo.

It is unclear if the man was a driver or passenger. It is also not known what prompted him to exit the vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
