Homes evacuated as 3-alarm Burbank brush fire grows in size
Burbank Police have issued mandatory evacuation orders for homes on two streets in the citys’s northern hillside as a brush fire grows in size.
All homes on Viewcrest Drive and Howard Court were ordered evacuated due to a fire burning near the 1000 block of Hamlin Place.
The Los Angeles Fire Department has sent air and ground crews to help battle that third-alarm fire.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department has also dispatched air resources.
A number of streets are closed in the vicinity of the blaze.
