Mar Vista Green Business Mixer at Venice Grind and Earl’s Gourmet Grub

Come down to the courtyard behind Earl’s Gourmet Grub and Venice Grind coffee shop on Wednesday at 5:30pm for a Mar Vista green business mixer.  Join neighborhood businesses and professional to connect and discuss local green initiatives.

Open Neighborhoods (publisher of The Open Daily) and the Sierra Club’s LA Beyond Coal Campaign are co-hosting the event to discuss how local environmental initiatives present opportunities for growth, new jobs, increased business visibility and bottom-line savings.  A theme of the evening will be how reducing our use of coal and investing in clean energy and energy efficiency will create new jobs, businesses, and investment opportunities in Los Angeles today and tomorrow.

A dinner menu will be provided by Earl’s Gourmet Grub and coffee and refreshments will be available from Venice Grind.

Special guests include the Los Angeles Business Council, the Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy, the Mar Vista Community Council Green Committee, SustainableWorks, PermaCity and local Mar Vista businesses.
