‘The Exorcist’ tries to ‘put the demonic on the stage’ at Geffen
For the 'Exorcist' play, John Pielmeier and John Doyle knew they couldn't re-create the film. Derived from William Peter Blatty's novel, it gets philosophical. Few films conjure up the nightmarish movie memories that"The Exorcist"does.
